Nexus Installation on Ubuntu

$ mkdir nexus

$ wget https://download.sonatype.com/nexus/3/nexus-3.39.0-01-unix.tar.gz

$ sudo apt-get update

$ sudo apt install openjdk-8-jdk-headless

$ cd nexus/bin

- install & startup : nexus run

- startup : nexus start

- stop : nexus stop

• 위의 3.39.0 + JDK 8 조합은 오래된 구성이다. 최신 버전은 Sonatype 다운로드 페이지에서 확인하고, 필요한 Java 버전은 받은 버전의 요구사항을 따른다. 최근 배포본에는 JDK가 같이 들어 있는 경우가 있어서 따로 설치하지 않아도 될 수 있다.
• root가 아닌 별도 사용자(예: nexus)로 실행하는 것이 좋다.
• 기동하면 기본 접속 주소는 http://localhost:8081 이다.
• 초기 admin 비밀번호는 sonatype-work/nexus3/admin.password 파일에 들어 있다. 처음 로그인한 뒤 바꿔준다.
